Our recipe is composed of 80% artichokes, for a powerful and delicious taste. We use extra virgin olive oil to give the truffle spread a velvety and creamy texture and a very appreciable balance on the palate.
The Tuber melanosporum is added to the preparation in the form of truffle breakings, to add to the spread the woody and slightly musky taste of the black truffle. The whole is both sweet and suave, with a high intensity and a very pleasant roundness in the mouth.
How to use the black truffle artichoke spread?
The artichoke spread is ideal for making appetizer toasts, especially if you use wholegrain breads. But this truffle spread has other culinary surprises. It can replace the traditional lasagna sauce; the result is both tasty and delicious. It can also enhance a Parma ham sandwich, adding smoothness and gastronomic complexity to the tasting.
